Local family-owned construction company wins Oneoneroa bid

Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Properties has appointed family-owned Vivian Construction as the primary builder for the next stage of its North Shore development, Oneoneroa, with construction due to start immediately.

Managed by three brothers who grew up on the North Shore, Vivian Construction is supported by a talented and motivated team who specialise in high-end residential construction projects, commercial construction and fit out.

Neil Donnelly, General Manager of Property Development for Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Properties says selecting a construction company who understands the significance of the development was important.

“Our ethos as a developer is to build sustainable communities and the appointment of our build partner needed to reflect this. Vivian Construction has demonstrated a focus on quality, the importance of community and an understanding of our vision for Oneoneroa.”

Like Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Properties, Vivian Construction prides itself on its relationships developed during the course of construction, remaining long after the project has been completed.

Managing Director, Jeff Vivian, says the company works in successful partnership with key subcontractors and suppliers to deliver high-quality workmanship ensuring competitive advantage for clients.

“As North Shore locals, we are extremely proud to be delivering local houses in the surrounding suburbs where we grew up.

“It’s a privilege to have been trusted by Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Properties to deliver a landmark project for the local community and the current and future residents of Oneoneroa,” says Jeff.

Vivian Construction will be working alongside Context Architects, who were appointed by Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Properties to design the next stages of homes.

Vivian Construction has completed a multitude of successful construction projects including Te Tii – Tuhoe, Aroha Apartments, American Magic Team Base and Te Kura Whare – Tuhoe.
