Chief Financial Officer

We are looking for a talented and experienced financial professional with exceptional leadership skills to join our Whai Rawa team as Chief Financial Officer. The CFO will be responsible for providing strategic advice and recommendations to the CEO, Board and the Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Trust and providing confidence around the financial (and risk) management of the company.

The CFO will lead a team of around eight to deliver the full finance function for Whai Rawa and be accountable for ensuring that the company meets its statutory requirements, has best practice financial governance in place, is appropriately funded and that its financial management and performance are of a high standard. In particular, the appointee will be responsible for leading and managing the financial, taxation, treasury and risk management activities of the company.

We have a number of projects underway and need an experienced and driven Senior Development Manager/Development Manager to add to the existing team. You will need to be able to to identify, initiate and manage through to delivery, a range of development projects in Tāmaki. The role will be supported by and report to the General Manager Property.

This is a significant strategic hire for Whai Rawa as the role will require the individual to drive the delivery of development opportunities, and consolidate existing and forge new commercial relationships across the rohe.
